A group of us friends attended a celebration at Diwan, and while it was enjoyable, we realized it be even more exciting if we made it a party for everyone to join in the fun. Our Story – More Than a New Year’s Eve Event
When I moved to the United States, building a sense of community and belonging was one of the biggest challenges.
What began ...as a small gathering of five families has organically grown into a close-knit network of 40+ families, supporting one another as our children grow up together.
This event is truly a family-driven celebration.
The music and media are managed by my son Samir A., a finance student at Rutgers University.
Table décor, seating assignments, and coordination are handled by my daughter, who is currently in middle school.
Ticket sales and guest coordination are managed by my wife, Rachna Aggarwal.
I personally handle sales, marketing, website management, Google listings, and even test new website plugins as part of building this event from the ground up.
Food and catering are provided by Royal Albert Palace, with professional security by Woodbridge Police, along with valet services to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all guests.
The entire event is supported by families who have been with us since 2022.
We have no sponsors—this celebration exists purely because of community support.
This New Year’s Eve reflects our journey: bringing families, friends, and professionals together in a well-organized, high-quality, and meaningful celebration. Tickets are priced nearly at cost, with no profit motive.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.
This event is dedicated to my father, who passed away on December 31st and never had the opportunity to celebrate New Year’s Eve in his lifetime. Through this celebration and giving back, we honor his memory.
