The night
Our New Year's Eve celebration returns to the Ballroom of Royal Albert's Palace in Fords, NJ — the biggest and most central hall in the building. Doors open at 7:30 PM, the party runs 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
Food is served in a separate Plaza Hall, so the Ballroom stays a dance floor all night: a 35-course buffet of continental, Mughlai and Indian dishes (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), separate dessert counters and live stations making golgappa, jalebi, dosa and ice cream to order. Plaza Hall also has its own photo booth.
The bar is a free open bar with a premium liquor selection until midnight. Entertainment runs all evening: DJ playing Bollywood and international hits, Bollywood dance performances, a dhol player, a belly dancer, and a kids-friendly zone with a magician, bubble blast and face painting, with attached bathrooms, sofas and a relaxation area.
At midnight we watch the ball drop live on the big screen and count down together. Free valet parking is included, and Woodbridge Police plus professional security are on site all night. Royal Albert's Palace has its own hotel next door if you would rather stay over than drive.
Important: there are several parties at Royal Albert's Palace the same night — make sure your ticket says Ballroom.
